HELLO!

I am Vinni, an Engineer by degree, a Product Designer by passion and a Baker conjured!

I was 12 years old when I baked my first cake, half raw. I served it to my uncle who ate it without a frown and said “Great job, kid”. After tasting it myself I realised what a disastrous slice of cake that was, and after 10 mins of dwelling on my failure, I started looking for ways to salvage it.

Since then, I’ve always found solace in the process of creation, both at work and at home. The research, testing and fun behind it all in my kitchen, excites me. And I always aspired to capture and share this experience, the intricacies and joys of food and flavour. Here, I am trying to build a space of my own, where I can create and share recipes inspired by people, culture, cuisine and ingredients. food that gives me joy.

Along with my work and kitchen experiments, this is also a haven for my travel stories and pictures, captured with my noob skills and a phone camera.
